"Thin Walls - Part I" stellt den ersten Teil einer "Best Of"-Rückschau dar, wobei dieser "Greatest Hits"-Sammlung eine besondere Gewichtung zukommt:
Alle sechs TFS-Alben, die dieser Retrospektive zugrunde liegen, sind nicht mehr erhältlich; und so führt kaum ein Weg daran vorbei, "die guten alten" Hits erneut zu veröffentlichen.

"Thin Walls Part I" widmet sich der mittleren Phase der Bandhistorie, den Rough-Trade-Jahren in der ersten Hälfte der Neunziger, und ist eine Zusammenstellung der drei TFS-Klassiker "Bite Release Bite" (1991), "Spell Of Joy" (1992) und Labyrinth" (1995).
Es gibt ein Wiederhören mit solch bemerkenswerten Undergroundhits wie "Not Now. Not Here", "Alaska", "Shelter" und "Soulspirit", aber auch mit großartigen Band-internen Alltime-Favoriten wie "Cold Contempt" und "In The Desert".

This is the first part of a "Best Of"-collection and a very special kind of "Greatest Hits"-anthology: All titles collected on it had not been available for a long time; good reason for a re-release and it also it might be possible for many listeners to receive these titles as all-brandnew material.

"Thin Walls Part I" takes us back to the early Nineties, for its selection is based on the three classical TFS-albums "Bite Release Bite" (1991), "Spell Of Joy" (1992) and "Labyrinth" (1995).

On "Thin Walls I" there are gathered several Independent-hits such as "Not Now. Not Here", "Alaska", "Shelter" and "Soulspirit", as well as some of the band's alltime-favorites, for example "Cold Contempt" or the totally breathtaking "In The Desert".
